The Story that Inspired My Blog

I am about to share one of the most embarrassing moments I have ever experienced in my whole life. It was March in grade 11 2007. I thought that Travel and Tourism had to be one of the most boring subjects ever in high school. Due to the lack of interest, other measures had to be taken in order to hold onto the little bit of sanity I had. In order to do this I spent time on mxit, chatting to my friends, drawing pictures, you know, getting involved in really productive things, like paper wars, and much to my detriment stated a chain letter that cost me my most embarrassing moment.

That day my teacher wore a top that accentuated the particular region of the nipple. Yes, her nipples were just there, right in your face, there was nowhere else to look. This was tremendously intriguing to the mischievous, and some what childish part of me. This top, worn by my poor Travel and Tourism teacher, became the topic of my chain letter. It went something like this...”wow check those nipples, they're so out there hehe”, and went on with a string of laughter as it circulated amongst my friends. I know this seems very immature and plain wrong, but you don't understand how boring that class used to be, people do strange things when boredom sets in. The bell eventually rang and the note was left in the hands of one of my friend, well I thought its was...

The next day at school, we all filled into Geography class, and my teacher threw me a very mischievous look, which was wired because she was one of the most feared and stern teachers in the whole school. Once we where all seated, she proceeded to open a piece of paper and read out the words it contained. At the first line I felt the blood rushing to my face, I felt my eyes starting to water, and I knew I was about to face the most embarrassing moment of my life, it was my note. Once the last words had dropped out her mouth like a slap in the face, she called my name...It turns out that the note had been carelessly left on the floor. My response, “but mam , I wasn't looking at her nipples, they where looking at me.” This was followed by a loud crack of laughter that erupted then ended way to soon, I could feel every eye in the classroom piercing holes in me and I just sat there in silence and tried my best not to cry.

This is my most embarrassing moment, and thanks to good friends, I am now able to laugh about it. Perhaps this story made you feel better about your most embarrassing moment, perhaps it didn't, perhaps you want to share your story also; whatever the case, please feel free to let them out on this page, I would love to hear them.
